SSPX

Does anyone know anything about the Society of St. Pius X? I've heard they're schismatic but they insist that they are not. However, they must not be unified with Rome:
Vatican Has Replaced Faith, SSPX Bishop Charges
Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!
